Homesteading
Do you feel the urge to “John Galt”? I know I do! Maybe that isn’t realistic (it isn’t for me and my family), but there are some things that you can do.
Do you want to build and live on a homestead? Do you live in the city and wish you could buy acreage in the country?
I understand! There are real concerns humanity is facing right now:
- contaminated water (East Palestine)
- rising energy costs
- adulterated food (plants & animal)
- vaccines in everything
- economic failure
- rising food costs
- tyranny
It really boils down to this: ARE YOU PREPARED?
You don’t need to be off the grid in one move. (Although, that would be ideal!)
Instead, take calculated steps in the right direction.
I can help arrange a gameplan to become more self-sufficient throughout multiple years.
Most homeowners have available space to add infrastructure and food operations for survival contingencies, and for the marketplace. Even if you have 1/3 of an acre, there is room for food sources.
Let’s all learn from Joel Salatin and start where you are by using the space you have.
“That ought to be our stewardship mandate, to create Edens wherever we go. That’s why humans are here. Our responsibility is to extend forgiveness into the landscape.“
Joel Salatin

“The first supermarket supposedly appeared on the American landscape in 1946. That is not very long ago. Until then, where was all the food? Dear folks, the food was in homes, gardens, local fields, and forests. It was near kitchens, near tables, near bedsides. It was in the pantry, the cellar, the backyard.”
Joel Salatin
It’s time to prepare for parallel economies.
I want to help put food everywhere to eliminate the need for grocery stores and relying on adulterated food sources.
My goal is to create an internal network, similar to a CSA (except bartering with food instead of paying with a declining dollar).
Here’s how it works: Let’s say you want to grow carrots and strawberries, while I grow potatoes, tomatoes, and blueberries. Another person wants to grow broccoli and raspberries.
We will all grow in excess, then share our harvest!
Every plant has special needs and there is a lot to learn. If we can each become experts in a few plants, then we can have local, healthy food to eat with a much smaller learning curve.
Let’s build a community of backyard homesteaders.
